Another Hollywood idiot becomes a traitor... Apparently, Danny Glover has gone off the deep end. Not that I was a big fan of his anyway, but this is still maddening as hell to me. He's a freaking traitor just like commie Jane Fonda. Hugo Chavez Not sure if you know this but he actually has a very good program in the USA that helps thousands of underprivelaged people get free heating oil. I'm not saying this guy is a good but he is at least using some of his money to help the underprivelaged people of the US to stay warm at home.I know nothing about Hugo other than that though...check this out... http://www.citizensenergy.com/ |

All you know about Chavez is that he called Bush "El Diablo." I personally, tend to agree with him.Do a search on IMF, World Bank and South America to find out WHY he would say such a thing. Most notable examples would be Brazil, Chile and Jamaica. They pretty much had their economy gutted by foreign "investors" and they were left holding the bag.
While Chavez may be unconventional, he's still trying to do whats best for Venezuela and you shouldnt fault him for that.Repo man's got all day and all night! Lets go get a drink! |

That doesn't surprise me at all Sealer but that is something to be debated on another thread. My point was more about how the very far left (Danny Glover has been extremely vocal with his radical left views) has hijacked the democratic party and is destroying the party.I don't know that much about Chavez to be completely honest, but I will say that anytime one of our citizens (especially one to be known as having radical leftist opinions), gets money or any other type of financial support from another country to do nothing but undermine our own, that my friend, is treasonous. |

i dont think danny glover has the pull to destroy any party's. and chavez gave free petro products to villages up here in alaska. and i am glad that they took it from him. who care what danny glover says.
as far as giving alqueda money, i would be curious to see how much the US has given them over the years before 911. who really knows what goes on at the big house. |

Who cares what type of government they choose, be it communist, socialist or whatever. Its THEIR choice not ours. And given our record in Latin America its no wonder to me that they would choose a different form of government.

Hey Ozark, why not support our own USA oil companies such as Sunoco or Conoco/Phillips.Instead of financing a guy who has called us an Evil Imperialistic nation, why not support our own workers. That's the whole point of this thread. Why didn't Mr. Glover use our own wealth of resources here rather than go the route he did? Surely, with his name recognition, he could get someone here to finance his projects rather than aligning himself with someone who supports Hezbollah and other terrorist regimes. |
