CSM 360 gyro worth?
Bought a used heli and found this CSM 360 HH gyro. It is rather big compared to the 401 I replaced it with. How much is it worth?

360?? is it right? There are sl-630 or sl-560 not 360...
If you have sl-630 it is like the sl-720 w/o the need of a pc interface and it has function for e-heli. The sl-560 is comparable to gy-401 but a little better.

The 360 was the worlds first HH gyro , introduced by CSM around 10 years ago . It suffers from temperature drift , but 10 years ago was the best gyro in the world !
To be honest , if it's in good condition , I would guess somewhere between 15 and 25 USD .
At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Like he said, it's the first HH gyro. I wouldn't think it'd be worth much, not enough to go through the trouble of selling and shipping it, at least. I had one in an X-Cell when they first came out (dear God were they expensive), and it worked well. Like mentioned above, it'd drift with temperature, but a couple clicks on trim brought it right back. Keep it around, it's always handy to have something like that in case a friend wants to get into helis, or you set up a backup machine, or just want to test somethign out.Nick Crego
