Guess how this one happened Please guys don't be disappointed with me or think I'm an idiot. I knew something like a Stratus or Raptor can kill person and that a T-Rex could turn a good day bad but a blade cp? I was holding the boom while watching the blades spin then WHAP! Well, I got cut down to the bone in two places. Even with the blades barely spinning, a blade CP can mess some stuff up. I now have a new respect for those "little" helicopters. People, please don't do what I did. |

Whoa dude, why would you even do that? That would scare the s#!t out of me. Glad to hear that it's just a finger, it could have hit in plenty of places that could have been worse.Nick Crego

What would I do it you ask? I couldn't even answer that when it happened. Just seemed like the right thing to do I guess. Of course I didn't think much of it; it's only a Blade CP at 1/4 stick but boy was I wrong. I guess sometimes you gotta learn the hard way |

I did the same thing when I had a Blade CP. Never got bit like that, but that was pretty much dumb luck... Nasty things those heli's... "There's someone in my head, but it's not me..." |

It was funny, my pride was hurt more than anything; my thumb just got numb. It took three weeks before I finally told my mom what happened.Never again though |

Just a thumb!?!? My thumbs are the most important part of me. To risk a thumb is to risk being a pilot! |

This is how people end up getting kicked off forums; they go around name calling and start a flame war. To be frank, I don't care what you think. Keep your uptight English comments to yourself. What you said hasn't helped anyone and the only reason I posted this is to warn others that even the little helis are dangerous. I certainly thought they were safer and they are and now I know and I'm spreading the word. Not sure if you've ever seen a blade cp but it certainly doesn't fit the profile of a dangerous killer. I'm not an idiot and admitted I made a mistake.Next time you feel like name calling, don't. It's not nice and has certainly pissed me off. Thanks for nothing. |

Huh?Please guys don't be disappointed with me or think I'm an idiot. Wasn't uptight English (I assume you're referring to location:England) . Was quoting something you had said. I would never normally use those words otherwise. Whatever I type here will be of no use. If they're capable of reading this, they're capable of reading the instruction manual safety measures.http://runryder.com/t287946p4/You're the one in an angered state and following me from thread to thread. The difference is. I never used the word idiot in my post (on the other thread). Also, I don't mind being called an idiot. Yes it was stupid of me, I should have left the helicopter even longer. If I had been running the engine then quickly put my hands on it and I said 'please don't think I'm an idiot'. Then your post would be justified.I'm sorry I wasn't much help to you or others, but when someone holds onto their helicopter (knowing their radio gear could fail and it could do anything) then hurts themselves. Whatever reply I may give to help is going to sound cynical and probably already in the instruction manual anyway.I've seen a blade CP. The blades are actually thinner, they look more likely to give you a cut if you touch them at slower speeds. In reference to you being 'pissed off'. That adds nothing to this forum but something I had written (especially using your words) should not have pissed you off so much. You might want to get therapy for that. They can be of good help apparently. There's quite a lot of anger management around these days.I hope I've helped a bit more. |

Clever you. Let's use his words and turn them on him. Seriously, what you said was rude and the quicker you learn that, the better off everyone will be. |
