Raptor 50V2 with a T-Rex 600 head - Equipment added Read the last message in here, I've added stuff. One of my helis is up for sale, I'm probably going to end up parting it out, but I figured I'd give selling it whole a shot. I purchased the heli a week or so ago from a friend, it is a 30V2 that he put 6 flights on, and I put one more on it to make sure everything was good before I converted it. It is fully converted, the only difference from a standard 50V2 is the swash is half plastic, unlike the full metal on the 50V2. Here's the specs:R50V2
8.5 gear ratio 50 mount, boom and belt T-Rex 600 head with plastic grips, plastic seesaw, metal flybar cage, plastic mixing arms, metal washout with plastic washout arms modified to fit the Rappy swash Callie graphics zig-zag pattern in green and graphiteThe only thing missing is a fan, I have a Gohbee one I bought from a friend that I'm including, it comes with a governor magnet in it, the original owner drilled a hole through trying to balance it. It works, but I'd buy a real TT one if it were me. The heli has 7 flights, no crashes, no hard landings, everything is perfect. The gears came out of my other 50, part of 2 teeth on the main gear have a chip on them, doesn't effect the operation. It's all in perfect shape, and the T-Rex head makes for a heli that flies 1000 times better than a regular Raptor, and gives you the ability to run high head speeds. It has nice fast cyclics, and is a lot smoother in forward flight with none of the pitchiness of a regular Raptor head. As it sits now, it's able to get about 9.75 degrees of collective pitch, with a little cutting on the pitch slots on the frame, it's easy to get 11.5 degrees (I've done it on my other one, and can do it for you if you like before shipping). This is a great way to get a heli that flies much better than a Rappy, but still have the low crash costs and wide parts availability. The heli and electronics have never been crashed. I did have the head on a heli that crashed, but it was minor, and didn't result in any damage to the head beyond a scratch on the head button.I'll sell it for $325 shipped in the US. If it doesn't sell, I'll pull it apart and sell it for parts. I can take paypal, or USPS money order for payment. Citizen #0168 |

Hitec 625MG on collective Helimax Piezo gyroThis would make a great setup for the beginner who's looking for a great flying heli. The gyro and servos aren't enough for 3d flight, but are fine for learning to fly with. I finally got to try my new 600N today, and honestly, it doesn't fly all that different or better than the Rappy with the 600 head on it.Still at $325 shipped. If you want a set of Mavrikk 60 carbons with it as well, add $50. Citizen #0168 |
