Mine is just to go into ff. I can hover with the best of them It is the transformation of moving the heli forward. I can go side to side and turn the nose as i do this but to turn it to the side and then go forward, I panic. But I keep trying.

tail in remote circles,

though to be honest, I haven't tried since last time I crashed! I get to about 2:00 and get confused--even on the sim.

I am on my second season now. I am ashamed to say that I feel like I have not progressed well. Most of the guys where I fly are new also, so not much "pushing" going on. I feel like I should be flying inverted or something, but I am not. Some piro's a couple rolls(sloppy ones) and my last roll, I crashed because I forgot to idle up, loops scare the crap out of me. I need to advance. I greatly enjoy just flying around though, guess that is what it is all about, having fun. As for nose in, I am totally comfortable with that as well as hovering at all points, and turning in any direction, figure 8's, whatever. I keep thinking that building the basics up to a strong level will just help me when I do progress. I was told not to push it too fast, but I feel like I am behind. When I am flying I keep thinking, flip that dude over and try it, or work on those loops and over come that fear. But, I dont. I think the electrics are helping me more though, because I find myself sneaking in small flights at home in a tight area, so that forces me to have more control. And when i try to fly backwards on the sim, it looks like, well, a semi trying to back up 43 trailers all at one time, there is nothing straight about it! I can hover great inverted on the sim though, once I get tuned in. I dont know how I will ever leanr that backwards stuff and inverted FF. <sigh>-----------------------

Been practising outside loops nose and tail first and they're a bit poo. Getting there with piro funnel (skids in) which looks good but hurts my brain after a while staying with it. It is more of a four point piro at the mo but just need to practise practise practise. i was getting ok at chaos but now the more i try it the worse it gets. I am doing ok at rolling circuits one way but can't get my head round doing them antclockwise direction.

Its wierd. Nose in for me as well. I can honestly do piroetting hovering with more control than nose in. Well, maybe not MORE, but I'm at least as good at a piroetting hover as I am nose in.

I'm currently teaching someone to fly with the buddy box. He always wants to practice nose in hovering, which is fine... When he's hovering nose in, I'm scared that I'm going to have to take over! He's better at it than I am! haha. It really wouldn't be a big deal to recover though. Just kind of wierd teaching something to someone that your not 100% comfortable with.
