Swash bearing shield
Hi all, just finished my first 3 maiden flights on my trex 600.
After the 2nd flight (easy FF) I noticed the bearing shield for the swash plate lying down on the chassis. I was able to pop it back into place and chalked it up to possible incomplete assy from bearing manufacurer.

After 3rd flight (mild 3d) same issue, shield back on the chassis with all the swash bearings balls exposed (and grease).

So, whatcha think? Send it back to align for a replacement, replace it with a superior aftermarket unit, or ???

Anyone else have the same experience? And if so what was your solution? I want to fly, but dont want to ruin the bearing from dust created from flying here in the desert!

well at least it makes it easier to clean the grime out of the swash bearing... after flying in 20-30mph winds and absurd amounts of dust yesterday, I ALMOST wish I could remove the shield from my swash bearing so I could flush it out with some oil... almost.
