sell the 600 and get another 450 se v2??
hi,

just wondering what i should do, i have a 450se v1 that i have just begun flying and getting along quite nicely with it.

i also have a brand new boxed (not built) a trex 600. at this stage i'm not sure now if i want to build and fly the 600 or get another 450???

just looking for other peoples thoughts on this matter that have flown both, or should i sell the 600 and get another 450. the battery packs for the 600 are alot more expensive and when i crash the 600 its probably more expensive to repair...

all thoughts welcome

Thanks
Z

The only reason you would want 2 450SEs is to have one ready to go when you crash.
That is why I have 2 SEs. (I am flying my backup now....)

I am in the other boat...
I have 2 SEs and wish I had a 600!

agreed... I have 2 450s, one of which is only partially built because of a crash awhile back... since I got my 600 up n' runnin, fixing the backup 450 has become a secondary priority, so it still sits there on my mantle... I love my 600 and now I gotta make a conscious effort to fly my 450... poor thing's neglected.. haha

Build the 600 its insane ya batteries are expensive but you can find deals on here. I have the 600 and a 450se and love them both. I just bought the 450 V2 and currently building it for a night setup.

My 450SE gets lots of dust now. The 600 is unreal compared to the 450. I keep the 450 to try new stuff that might cause me to crash. You should build the 600 and fly it, you will see what we mean.

I didn't crash, it was a gust of gravity!

same here, have a 450 and now only fly it when the 600 batts are charging. my 'default' heli has switched to the 600. i didn't think it would being crashes being more expensive and batteries costing so much along with the pucker factor of having all that money in the air. but the 600 flies so much nicer and it's so much easier to see.

build and fly the 600 and you won't be looking back, guaranteed.

Part with my 600? NEVER!!!

Sometimes my 450SE gets the back-burner treatment, or I'll fly them near equally. The only times that the 600 stays out of the lineup are during mechanical problems or when I need the 450 to try new stuff.
