I Agree
I couldn't agree more with what Gordy just wrote. The big Futaba wheels have the layout pattern on them. I just keep indexing the wheel around so that I have a layout line and hole at 90-degrees to the linkage by using no subtrim. It works every time.

Servo Arms
Okay Thanks for the information. I'll make up some new Wheels. I was installing the wheels from the previous owner. They were marked where they came from but don't line up the same. I got new wheels with my servos so it won't be a big deal.

Thanks again

wow
i just came across this thread, i have no problem setting up my throttle linkages so that all 90 deg is half throttle and top is throttle stop and throttle bottom is wot...

the only dilema is that 1/2 throttle on the ys 91 is 40% throttle so i cant find a way to get the geometry right ?

dont worry about it as long as its liner mechanically you will be right as you will either use your govenor or a throttle curve to set the 40% hover point
ENV - Still laying it down !….Ohhh yeh !!!

hi dale, yeah i was thinking that but i am a stickler for the whole mechanical setup thing..... but i know with one touch of the screen on my mz it will all be over.... i do all my flight and engine tuning governor off, and set throttle curvs manualy, then turn gov on to make up for the little drops and increases in rpm while flying.
