Canon A640
What do you think of the camera canon A640 to do professional photos in helicopters?

Thanks,

Its working great for me.
Lots of people are using it. I'd say the ratio of using that to my d200 is 10:1. Its very rare that a client will need the resolution my d200 will provide.

I'll second that. The 640 is a fine camera for light AP work.

Well not just for light work. My 640a is strapped to my joker 2 much more then the nikon d200. Unless i am needing to do a poster print it works GREAT!

I am looking at getting the same camera. I was looking at a SLR I think around 10.2 mega pixels is enough for close AP shots.Jason McKay

I have been using an A640 since last September. Shot thousands of aerials with it and never ever had a client complain. If you get one be sure to also get the .7X Canon wide angle converter and adapter.
