And how do the servos work prior to "firing up the engine", is this electric or glow? what rx is it?AMA 881220 2 x Swift16 (one Flybarless), 3 x TREX600, TREX450

The servos seem to work fine before trying to fire up the engine. It's a R127DF Futaba 7ch. It's a nitro engine. When i temporarily replaced that rx with a new one, it worked just fine.

Sounds like you may have a cracked or damaged crystal or something else in the RX is cracked and the vibration is showing it up.

If replacing the crystal doesn't do it, then just replace the whole thing.
It's discontinued so you will have to go for the
