Finished 600N

The build went great.

Only 2 complaints.

1. I mounted my remote Glow igniter where they recommended. It failed to work. After trying a few things I discovered it was the black coated screws were preventing a closed circuit or grounding to the motor.

I took the screw off and used a dremel to remove a little black coating and reinstalled and perfect, it worked.

2. The bottom frame stiffiner is rubbing on the Muscle II pipe.

I removed a about an 1/8 inch from the carbon bottom plate with a dremel and again perfect.

I was amazed to see how even the Az regulater fits perfectly in the front mount. A pleasure to build. Can't wait to ring it out tomorrow.

I set the Gov at 1900 and 2100 to start with

Also have 13+ and 13- with 9 on the cyclic.

20% expo on ail and ele
15% expo on Rud
Gain at 37%

I mounted the gyro sensor in the same location that I have mounted it on the 600 E version.

On top behind the main shaft on top of the Tail Boom mount,

If you look on the side view pics you can see red velcro up top towards the rear.

That is where the sensor is.

I'm using the same servos on cyclic and same throttle servo too.

Did you notice that the 3 links from the push pull levels to the swash were too short (if set per manual). That length works fine on my other Trex 600E's, but on the N (after asking myself wtf is different since they use the same head so the links should be the same) it looks like the push pull levels sit lower on the frame that the electric models.

Did you notice this too?

Yes i did notice that I had to make the 3 arms longer than was in the manual. I noticed that the bell cranks are lower than in the E version. They are not on the same height as the servo's. They are a little lower.

I think I was 3 turns longer than the manual says.

UPDATE

Well I put about 8 tanks through it today.

It flies incredible.

Tracking is perfect. extremely fast on the Cyclic at almost 9 degrees.

13 degrees on collective and I feeel that it could handle more. Engine performed great barely had to work the engine.

Tracking is right on. Flies very nimble.

EXTREMELY FAST ON CYCLIC!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best flying 50 I have flown.

I was fling in about 15 mph wind today and you can tell its light.

This heli flies so well it reminds me of, well I won't mention some other 90 size heli in here.

Align has a another winner on their hands.

Just weighed it.

With Rotortech 610's no fuel
Az regualtor, 2 cell 2600 relions battery, ar7000, Rev max, remote glow igniter,

RTF no fuel 7.1lbs

This is funny I just weighed my 600 elec.

It weighed with 6s battery

7.8
