Thanks for that. Looks like you really have to baby those packs when you first get them. I've got 2 coming from TP and I'll try breaking them in that way.Joe

Thanks for the scan. I was looking at the .pdf TP has on their site and it doesn't have the same text. I've been breaking in a new battery and used the 3-5c max technique. Setting on the floor, 0 degrees of pitch and about 87% throttle was pulling 8.5 amps so I did the floor thing 3 times. Now I'm doing nice gentle ff flight so hopefully this battery will be happy for a long time. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Well, after 20 days I couldn't take it anymore and I e-mailed TP. They said "What batteries?". Great. Found them the next day and said they would get back to me. So here I sit, no batteries, no information. Still waiting.Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.

I just called them yesterday and they're replacing my 6S 5000 for free. But they aren't great communicators. FP on the other hand is great. I am planning on upgrading my Rex to 8S using my existing 6s batteries and I emailed FP, last night. I got 2 emails from them this morning. I emailed TP in the past but never even got a reply. I will likely buy FP for my lipo needs for the most part.Joe

I got an email yesterday with a tracking number for my replacement 2200TPX battery. They received my old battery on 05/17. Not to bad, not lightning speed but it did get taken care of. It's interesting that they replaced the battery no charge but they did bill me for the return shipping to the tune of 6 dollars and change. That's accceptable I guess, at least I'll have a battery to use for the $80 I paid originally. The original battery went toes up within 16 cycles and had that date code from nov of last year. At the end of the day, assuming the replacement battery is good, I will have paid over $90 for the battery if I include shipping back and forth to TP.There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I just received my battery and the invoice says "paid" so they didn't charge for return shipping, that's nice. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I got all my TPs back now and still in the breaking in stage. Will be flying them normally soon. Also, my 6s1p 5000mAH TPX is on its way, apparently. Hopefully it should be here soon! Carl, good luck to you! Have you tried calling them? It does help.Joe

I sent 7 2200's back last month after I Emailed a description of my issues and then called a week later. They said they would load test the packs then call me. Well they called 2 weeks later and indeed said they were replacing all my packs. Something about a bad cell in each and at 1300mah the packs pooped out. End result I'm pleased with the service and I'll buy TP again. But.... one guy there is not a great communicator. I'll leave it at that.

Update
I just received back 4 new (covered by warranty) 3s1p 2070 packs for the 4 I sent in. Hopefully these will perform and last longer than the 4 I sent back in. The whole warranty process took over a month.

Thanks.
