Well, I finally got around to having my Pro Piccolo captured on video. Sorry for the bad quality on the video, but my Video guy Scott Hollister rendured it in a small file size for web download 2.7MB. If anyone wants a higher resolution video posted let me know, and I'll try to get Scott to make a higher resolution.
Here is my setup:
Stock Piccolo Pro mechanics, stock blades, with stock tail motor.
Hacker B20-18L with 8T pinion for main
Phoenix 10 controller for main
GWS ICS50 controller for tail
3-cell Kokam 1020mah pack
CSM CLG200 heading hold gyro

Also, my ftp site has a daily bandwidth limit, so if anyone else wants to host the video, please feel free to.

Regards - Steve

Sure thing Chris - See you at the show. I just checked the link, and it works OK, however you can try this link also which is hosted by Tom Cardiff on the Piccolo BBS.

I want one too!
Excellent demo of what this little wonder can do.

How did it fly with the stock motor in comparison?

I found the stock 410 was a bit heavy, and was only good for fast forward flight or stall turns. The Orion Elite modified motor performed pretty good on an 8-cell nimh pack, but the lifetime of the motor was short since it was being loaded down pretty bad. For heavy aerobatics I would recommend going brushless on the Pro Piccolo, and use a 3-cell Lithium Polymer pack such as the Kokam 1020mah cells.
