I don't know if this has been posted before. Excellent video of a 4 engine B-29 flight.

I thought it was pretty cool just watching the X1 drop and fly, but then....... Never thought I'd see a B-29 hover!

You're pretty smart

What's your point, you don't appreciate the post? Was it wrong to post this on a heli forum?

Makes a refreshing change. Cool deployment of the drone.

I think it's good to see other model related vids once in a while.

By far one of my favorite RC videos.

I couldnt beleive that the pilot did an intentional flat-spin on the B-29 just to eject the pilots!!! thats some nerve there...

Why is it called common sense if it is so very rare?

He had that thing at the Winter Fest of Giants here in Jacksonville, thats quite an act to catch in person and the entire crew is very personable.

He owns the field and hobby shop where IRCHA South East is held.

WOW!.... That low inverted flyby and that low roll that ended at 20 feet had ALOT of pucker factor!

Killer video... heli or not. THANK YOU for posting!

Waaaay cool-
He must be using all 12 channels of the radio on that hog. You certainly have to appreciate the work involved.
If it is R/C- I dont see why it shouldnt be posted

drone
That wasn't a drone, it was a Bell X-1. It was the first aircraft to exceed the speed of sound in controlled, level flight.

I called it a Drone as it didn't have any landing gear.

Who am I to know - I just fly big n little helicopters

I think the real Bell X-1 had landing gear in the form of skis. I can't remember. I don't remember seeing any in the video. I guess we found a flaw. It's still perty sweeeet.

What I want to know is how the B-29 landed without the pilot.
I guess there was two. One smart one, and one dummy with more guts than brains to stay and save the day.
That video makes me want to fly planks again after about a 3 year hiatus. I think I will dig something out of the shed right now. I only hope that that video doesn't encourage me to go buy something that extravagant. I wouldn't have enough money for helis then. I guess that jb turner was right to complain about this being a heli forum. If it takes anything away from my helis I am going to be upset.
