You guys should look at Peter Wales' pitch gauge. Look for the thread re home made tools. He glued a digital protractor to a pitch gauge and can get incredibly accurate pitch readings. Way cool.

Pitch gauge
I have a primary and a secondary.

My Primary, Ace number one pitch gauge is a phillips screwdriver. If I need to know my top and bottom pitch (like it matters anyway) I use a MA pitch gauge.
