I'm looking for a high torque servo for collective on my Millie.

I see that these two servos have almost identical characteristics = 9.5kg/0.19 sec.

Apart from this what are the differences?? Which would you reccommend for collective use??

9206 not digital
9151 Digital

If you can afford it 9151 is the way to go.

Also the 9206 has metal gears, the 9151 does not.

If you want 9151 servos Heli-kraft in Taiwan has some that were taken out of a radio system set. I think they are going for $70 US each. Look under their special offers.

James,

I think you are right about the cost of the 9206 gear sets. But I think that is for the complete set - including the metal gear. My understanding is there is a 9206 plastic gears only set that can be had for the usualy gear set price. I sure hope so. I have 3 of them and plastic to metal gears usually do not last long.
