Nice shoreline footage!
I enjoyed the angles looking into the sun.

Here is my shoreline contribution from a few days ago:

and here is where the water gets a bit more complicated:

(18ft self bailer with about 6ft showing)

Cheers,
Jeff

IKA - WOW that is smooth! And you used no stabilisation? What's your setup?

Jeff - Lovely shots For shots like that beach one, do you have the image in your mind before you set off (ie. you wanted specifically to get a shot of water breaking on a beach), or was it on the off-chance as you were in the area and thought it would be a nice idea?

Bezek - Great shot! What lens are you using on the 40D?

lens on 40 D
I'm using the Canon EFS 18-55 IS.
And that photo only has a slight bit of sharpening in edit nothing else.

David,

"do you have the image in your mind before you set off"

The primary mission was a lake house exterior which went quickly.
There were a couple more perspectives I wanted to try after seeing a vertical shot in a magazine advertorial so I grabbed another pack to experiment with. The water color and clarity was not expected. The great thing is now I can take it a bit further the next time and keep on building from what I discover.

I think it was a golfer that said, "The more I practice, the luckier I get".

Cheers,
Jeff

Tower cranes in Steamboat....what is the world coming to!

Nice job Cedar.

Had a job at the capitol building last week and convinced the State Patrol to hang around for this sunset shot of the capitol building.

I think Capitol is correct

Capital is a similar word, describes what my company is lacking after my recent buying binge.

Might be a UK/US thing.

Thanks for the comments!

"Tower cranes in Steamboat....what is the world coming to!"

Funny thing is when I was flying this crane operator intentionally swung the boom into my air space??? A little battle in the sky..
