Nice work Torsten! Do customers press the big gray button at the base to make the structure rotate?

Jeff,
Hopefully they waited for the blades to spool down before peeing! Great fog scene -- I like the B&W!

Your lucky I like you. Otherwise I would have reported you to the ministery of defense for making aerial images in Dutch airspace without a license .

Why was this an 3,5 hour shoot Was this with traveltime included.

Here are some pictures I made of IJburg.

IJburg is the newest district of the city Amsterdam. It is going to be made out of 7 manmade islands. Right now the first 2 islands are beeing build, so there are 5 more to go $$ $$.

This was the first assignment where I had to fly over open water to get some of the shots. I don't know if I would be able to recover the heli from the water with the currents. Though my CARVEC unit gave me extra comfort while flying the thought of losing it in the water really freaked me on the first flight. Fortunately the uncomfortable feeling disappeared after the first flight.

Edit: pictures relinked due to server migration

brett,

yup...carvec is used on every flight actually, for greater positinal accuracy even for the non panoramic work, but most of the stuff now we do is panoramic images. its really a great tool for the 360's. but there have been occasions where i cant get a gps position hold presumably due to interferance from cell towers or something but it only effects position hold.....not the stabilization or flight controls...

Couple of shots from out latest Golf Course work.

Also, shot 20 minutes of high-def video (Sony HC1) of Naked Mountain Winery in Markham Virginia ... unfortunately all the staff were dressed! I'll post a sample soon.
