Holy Smoke Martin ,

Those are beautiful shots!!

I'am suprised with that last shot.
Bionic canopy? .
AF underslung mount? .

You just need some stickers on the canopy and it will look like this one:

Keep it up!

Menno

ps. are you still using the Canon 10-22 lens?
ps. ps. What is the red ball on the tail?

Tony, Torsten thanks!

Menno,
Hehe, yeah it looks like I fly your heli

I broke my Logo20 canopy, I then bougth the Bionic canopy (it's a better fit ). I'll paint it in yellow when I'll have the time.

Yes I still use the 10-22, but I also use a 15mm fish eye, a 20mm and the default stock 18-55mm lens.

The red ball on the tail is for visibility only. At 400 feet, it helps me to see where is the tail

Still real nice Travis.

I am trying to remember the area, I picture it being very congested, were you flying from a rooftop, or were you able to fly from the street?

Thanks,

I believe that is the base of Highway 92, Crystal Springs Res, before heading to Half Moon Bay.

Yep, that is the Crystal Springs reservoir. Shot near the intersection of I280 and Canada Road.

Hi Ian, there are definitely flyable areas around Nicasio Reservoir. If I remember correctly, there's an island along the main road that would be pretty cool to see from the air.

Another view of the lake looking to the south.

Great shots!

Martin,
Love the bus shot, but I noticed a bit of your color layer on the barn. It is in the transition between the trees and the roof line just to the left of the chimmney.
It just caught my eye and thought you might have missed it?
Love the contrast between the bright red bus and the old barn.
