time to upgrade, what sim?
I currently have a blade cp beginner helicopter, ive somewhat mastered what it can do, no fancy tricks or anything. I want to upgrade to a helicopter that can do tricks and more advanced manuvers but before i do i was considering a flight sim program. Are the programs good enough that if i got good on it that i could fly the more expensive helis the same. And if so what one should i buy, ive seen the expensive real flight and been refered to a few others but what is the best one out there? thanks for any replies

phoenix rc is a good sim and by far the cheapest.
If you can do it on the sim and you have no fear of crashing then you can do it in life.

Realflight G3.5, the physics is unbelievable. My flying skill shot through the roof after about 2 weeks on this sim.------------------------------------

Wait until February 1st when Reflex will bring a new update and see what they offer before you choose.
I have Reflex and Phoenix (not tried G3 neither Aerofly) and for now prefer Reflex, just because I can make my own models. Phoenix feels different, but it's very good too.
Is there a life outside the sim?

Very soon I will have either Reflex XTR or Phoenix up for sale (UK only).

I have both, but will only keep one. Trying to decide which one I like the best but it is very difficult because they are so close, each have their own pros and cons.

Cheers,

Nigel

how has reflex been with futaba 9z radios? I had a problem with the combo a year ago and it didn't work. Every time you touched the radio the heli freaked out. I also tried it with my uncles 9z and the same thing happened. I chose the G3 because it is plug and play and with the 3.5 download it works out great lots of trainers.
