Question about charging 6s
I have a astroflight 109 charger I bought to charge my 6s 2p align 4400mah lipo's. I heard you want to balance while charging them so I bought a e-station balancer that balances 6s packs my question is do I hook up the lipo to the charger like normal and just connect the balancer to the lipo while charging or am I suppose to somehow charge threw the balancer and the balancing plug and not threw the dean connector thanks

If your balancer doesn't have charge through leads (in & out) you will balance when charged.
That should be OK

e-Station balancers
The 2 current models, PB-5 V2 and PB-6 do not charge through the charger. The charger connects to main power leads and the PB-x connects to the balance tap.

The old PB-5 V1 did connect through the charger power leads.

You can do it either way. Using it during charging will keep the cells balanced throughout the charge and all cells will be balanced at 4.2V per cell.Evan Chapkis Tampa, Florida

All of my packs are 6S, some 3P some 4P and I charge them with Astro 109's. I always have balancers connected during charge and I charge them at ~ 1/2C to give the balancers time to do their stuff.
