Should I wait?
Hi everybody,

I am ready to buy my first 90 size heli. My decision was down to either a Vibe or Stratus. But after doing a lot of reading on the forum it seems like I may want to wait for the Aurora. Will this machine really be better than the Vibe and Stratus? Any idea of how much the kit will cost? What makes this ship so good?

Thanks,
Andrew

Honestly, when it comes to high end machines, I truly believe that they are all awesome machines. I don't think one flies better than another, just different. The tolerances between the parts as well as shear quality make them all top notch helicopters. Just pick the helicopter that has the most features that appeals to you. I've flown a Stratus, Freya 90, and a Synergy. They all fly DIFFERENT, but no one better than the other IMO. Personally, I prefer my Stratus to all of them, but again, that's a preference. Pick the machine that appeals to you the most!

Andrewk what are you flying now? How long have you been flying? And most important how deep are your pockets As if you crash a lot you'll need to be looking at something that stands up well to most crashs ( what I found with my Raptor 90), is cheap to fix and easy to get parts for in your area. Do you fly at any club, if so what are the others flying. If you ask nicely they might let you have a go. As for the Aurora its a great looking heli but with all that metal to bend I'd be scared to fly it, I'd end up putting it in a glass case over the fire place.
