I got one and had to cut down the gyro gain.
Tail more precise.
Thanks to Kasama.

Same here. Put it on a friend's Titan and had to lower the gain. It's consistant with the results from Kasama's own tests on pre-production tails.

Just a question, but would you not be able to run more gain if there is less slop now??

The way I understand it is that since there is more tail authority (less slop+more effective force from the blades) then the gyro doesn't need as much gain as before to compensate. Of course my understanding of gyro gain is probably incorrect.

I don't know why.
With Kasama tail I have to lower the gyro gain.
Can I say this is more tail power.

I just got the complete head unit from Kasama (not fitted yet) and looking at this I am going to order the tail.

I've found sloppy linkages reduce gain. Slow TR servos reduce gain, bigger tail rotor disk reduces gain, longer servo arms or increased blade throw reduce gain. Metal parts do nothing for gain if of the same geometry.

Ability to increase gain usually means you have a better tail setup.

as i think
just lower gain but not lower tail authority

lower gain..that mean servo not work hard as before..

lower temperature..less servo hunting
low power consumption .. long life tail servo..

less tail wag

Happy helicopter
