yea, there's a significant amount of difference between the metal and plastic parts, imho... the thin plastic parts tend to make way for slop due to the fact that they're small and plastic... Plastic/composite works ok for larger sized helis because they have more mass, but with a lil TRex those parts are well.... flimsy... If anything, the metal parts I feel are most important are the head block, swashplate, and flybar cage. I used to notice that my plastic flybar cage on my TRex450 would have a lot of bend in it...
