FWIW, Professor Fate, I can take my thumbs off both sticks and my T-Rex DOES stay right there. I can do it on my Fury as well, that's good enough for me.

I don't think I will ever buy a Logo. I think they come with an "Elitest" option that I do not ever want to deal with. This is the second post I have responded to where a Logo owner bashed another heli because of a bad experience that THEY most likely caused. Obviously if Dhollein can get his Trex to fly hands off, it CAN be done!Team MikadoUSA 480XXTreme, 550SX, 600SX, 700XXTreme, 800XXTreme!!

I have a Trex 450SE and a Logo 10 3D and both are pretty well modified beyond my skills. I have nothing bad to say about my Trex and actually enjoy flying it more than my Logo (at least for now). This may change when I get more familiar with the Logos size and power. I, too, can take my hands off my Trex for a couple of seconds without it drifting thanks to the swashplate leveler I used to set it up. With the size of the Swift, it MUST be equally as stable as the Logo but I have yet to actually fly one so I can only go by those who fly them. LaughingStill and many others LOVE their Swift and they are not rookies so I have to give the Swift the benefit of the doubt. I would really like to see Century's new CF 550 and 620. When they hit mainstream, I may consider the 620 if parts are as affordable as the Trex 600 and the Swift.Trex 500, Stretched Logo 10 3D, Ion-X, Gaui 200

LaughingStill,

Do you have any thoughts about the 550 or 620?

That's funny you mention the "elitist" karma of the Logo. I feel like that guy who has a Mercedes Benz in the garage but prefers to cruise around in the Mustang vert. and commutes with the Toyota Prius

LOL, Now that's fuuny! I am slowly turning my Swift into a 550. I just need the carbon side frames and a driven tail upgrade! Have you seen my blog on RCGroups? Enough about me now. I REALLY want to get a 620 when it is available, But I want a Trex600, Garzuar, and a Logo(ok I said it!)also. My ultimate heli is a Heinsleit MPXL-E, I just cant afford them right now. Planning a trip to Vegas soon, that's how I paid for my Swift! Beleive me, I will let you know if I do get one!

I started out on a Blade CP PRO, I have been told if you can fly a blade, you can fly anything. At first I was going to go with a Trex600 to make it easier on myself, but after talking with some people, and doing some thinking, I didn't want easy. If I wanted easy, I would get a TMAXX and try to jump over my house or something, instead, I got the Blade Pro, and in about a 3 weeks, I have an amazing hover going on. Can I let my hands of the stick, Heck no...But, I can get a very good hover and hold it there..I think starting with the smaller heli was great, but if your concerned about money, get a nitro, a million times more stable. The Trex600 will hover by itself also. I bet I have as much money in my blade cp pro as I would have in a trex 600, but I bet when I am great at the blade, that when I get a bigger heli, I will only be that much better. So, just because it is easier doesn't mean its the right thing to buy a huge heli. Because at some point, you will want a micro heli, whether its to fly indoors, or whatever. Plus, if it is cold in your area, you won't want to learn to fly a huge electric, because you have to be outside, and Lipos...They don't like the cold at all..So, its a double edged sword, and I don't think you would want to fly some 50+ sized heli indoors..I would hate to see what some Trex600 blades can do to your walls...Hope this helps a little bit, and sorry it was so long winded, but coming from someone who wanted the "easy way out"...I am glad with my choice.

Dingalling,

Good point...I, too, started out with a small heli. Now that I have a larger one, it is MUCH easier and I can immediately fly it comfortably.
