+1... I flew for almost a gallon ;-) yesterday... must have done at least 25 autos... love it ;-)

p.s. Mike, i think Futaba simply replaced my GY520 when i sent it in to be checked... might be worth a try for you as well?

I cant speak for anyone but myself , the field is 31+ miles and 2 tolls from my house , im blanacing paying bills and 3 kids with all the activities they are into , work is apx 40% slower than 12months ago and with my recent "promotion" im in the building at least 55-60 hours a week and some saturdays , if anyone is wodering where i was this weekend , i worked 12hours saturday and spent today celebrating my sons 5th birthday , i would love nothing more than to spend time at srw but right now its not easy , i will be there for a few hours early next saturday .
So next time people want to know where other members are , think , perhaps it no so easy to just wonder down to the field and fly whenever the mood takes me.Sorry to rant but there you have it....

As a matter of principle, I will not renew my membership with this club. I was waiting to see how members will respond to Bill's usual threats above, and it seems to be the same old "silence, the BOSS is talking". Guys, until you take back this club from Bill and his cohorts, this club is dead. Bill and his clique have succeeded in turning the club into a ghost and unfriendly club, and everybody (including Bill) knows this, hence people prefer to fly at other fields.
We were warned of what direction Bill will take the club to. We were also warned of what will happen to the club when Dino is brought in (yes, Dino was brought in. He didn't think it made sense to pay $250 to join a club), and we see it now.
The club has gone from 15 to 20 vehicles every weekend to 1, 2 or 3 vehicles, and this is a shame.
Wish you guys well.

Peace out!!!

PS: Bill, you can't stop anyone from flying on any PUBLIC park, you might change your little lock at the gate (which still doesn't prevent outsiders from driving in), but you CAN'T stop people from flying.

All,

As a new comer I just wanted to share some of my thoughts about SRW and what I saw during the Spool Up event on Saturday..…

Heli – There were gassers / electric, big / small , scale & some with camera mounted, as you can see by the photos many different models. But you can purchase the SAME heli with the same mods as the guy next car over.

Field – Big / small , paved / unpaved… But again this is nothing more than a flat piece of earth.

What make a club unique is its members, what I saw was helpful, organized, friendly and gave me and my non-flying spouse a warm welcome.

I know this is off-topic but my 2 cents worth..
