I have a used OS 70 that needs a new ring and has some play in the connecting rod. Everything else is perfect. Simply replace these two items and the engine is ready to go. Bearings are great. Ring is $16.99 and con rod is $18.69 at Rick's. This engine has been the best engine I have ever owned!! I simply wore it out by burning fuel in a slightly rich state.

The second engine is a new OS 70 with 5 gentle break in tanks of fuel run through it. I pulled the engine from my Xspec to sell them seperately. Engine is starting to run poorly at the break in settings, so it is time to start leaning on the needles.

I have two Hatori SB-15 mufflers: both are used. One has a flat area from trying to install the header into the muffler using a vise. I was experimenting with harder/larger o-rings to increase o-ring life, but the side of the muffler started to flatten from the pressure. I have flown it this way and cannot tell any difference in performance. It was used on a YS 91 for a few gallons and then an OS 50 for many gallons. I bet the freezer method would fix the dent, but I have not tried this. The other muffler is used but in working order with no major dents. Both come with mounting hardware.

I have one new in package stock mounting bracket for the hatori SB-15's. I always kept a spare in my flight box, as they sometimes crack.

Finally, I have a zimmerman 90 sized muffler. This is the same model that Ron Lund ran for quite a while on his OS 70 powered Freya, and is now using on his YS 91 powered Freya Evo. Call Ron and ask him how much he loves this muffler. I bet you can't pry it from his cold dead fingers! Mine was used for the OS 70 as well. It is stainless steel, one piece design. This muffler is super quiet, super smooth, and makes more power than the Hatori SB-15's at the slightly rich needle settings I prefer to run at. My muffler is in EXCELLENT shape. The stainless holds up much better than the aluminum variety. This is by far my favorite muffler of all times. In my opinion, there simply is not a better muffler to bolt onto an OS 70 and fly the life out of the engine (see worn out engine above) without ever touching it for any reason at all!!

My OS 70 and zimmerman muffler made close to the same power as my YS 91 and SB-15 or MP2 did, and yet the OS combo runs soooo much smoother, starts easier, and sips fuel.

I want to sell the entire package: both engines and all three mufflers.

OS 70: $249
OS 70: $249
Hatori SB-15: $145
Hatori SB-15: $145
Zimmerman 90: $135
Total: $925

Asking $455

Here is a quality KSJ or K&S muffler for 40-50 sized engines: Asking $45 plus shipping.
