I was thinking of upgrading my CPpro to brushless. I have an e-flite esc lying around so I figure why not.
Problem is I just bought 2 brand new e-flite 800mah batteries for it and dont want to have to replace them whan I go brushless. Question is:
Would the e-flite 800mah batteries be powerfull enough for the brushless upgrade? Im not really interested in 3d flying, I basically like to do some nice hovering, figure 8s... you know....sport flying.
If I used the recommended Park 370, would that give me less flight time? Would I still be able to use the batteries I have? what I would actually like is to have the same power I have right now but with more flight time. Any ideas?

BTW just crashed the heli today big time. I was flying around when all of a sudden the motor just stopped and she fell like a brick out of the sky. had just started flying too, it wasnt the batteries. It was almost as if i had gone out of range, but I wasnt that far away either. BAH! well I got all the spares to fix it but a new canopy, so I guess it could be worse.

the E-Flite 800mah batteries are more than sufficient for a brushless motor. A brushless motor is more efficient and powerful than an equivalent brushed motor for pretty much any given size, so if you could fly with the stock motor, you definately can with a brushless, and you will most likely get a few extra minutes of flight time

If it moves but shouldn't, duct tape. If it doesn't, but should, WD-40
