Have taken off the top case and the bottom lid on my 9254
servo. How do I get the motor and pot out of there?
Is it fastened in some way or do i just apply force and pull it out?
(Servo travels a bit rough and I would like to check inside. Gears are fine.)

the motor is glued/epoxied into the case and soldered to the
board.

you need to heatgun the servo and it'lll release the motor.

you'll most likely just end up replacing the servo (the motor is
expensive).

if you had a boom mount for the servo, the oil has ruined
the motor probably

OK!
That cleared things up for me!
Not a good idea to put the screewdriver in there and bend like crazy then!
It sits on a e-raptor with a gy401 and works OK. Just doesn´t seem to travel smooth, more of a pulsating motion.
Thanks/
Robert

My experience has been they are about ready to go when they act like you described.

Depends of what you mean smooth, All my servo's for the gyros moves like if they where ratchets in there... I suspect it has something to do with the gyro and its pulses?

MrMel,
You may have a point there.
I put the servo directly in the receiver and it moves more "smooth".
It also seems to move more smooth the faster I move the rudderstick.
