We have a new member in our heli club and I am teaching him to hover his blade cp--I have my blade cp set up with my futaba transmitter but also have the stock tx as well---my question is does the buddy box need power to it like when you buddy box a jr radio?....anyone buddy box a blade cp?........thanks......joe

I also have a question about buddy boxing. Does the trainee need to have a 6 channel transmitter or can they use a 4 channel?

IT has to be at least !!
at least the body boxer should have six or more channels...
it cant be lower than that...and the transmitter has to be programed by a heli set-up......or for without question the body boxer can be just another Blade Cp Pilot or transmitter...

Just let him do Radd and he will be fine. Flying a heli has much to do with muscle memory than in-flight instructions.
