Pb - symbol origin: From the Latin word plumbum (lead). Lead-acid and gelcells.

I gots me plenty of batteries, so I never charge above 1.0 amp with the Triton. If you use a balancer, some say it is okay to charge faster.

It has been reported that your packs can be charged at 2.0 amps when a balancer is used. Be careful and aware, if you do.

The standard rule I heard and have lived by is LiPo's can be charged at 1C. Going on about 60 cycles on my Align 2200's. I've used the Equinox that I picked up for 30 bucks on about 40 or those cycles. I usually get about 1900 - 1950 pumped into em each charge. Thats starting from flying till the cutoff is just barely detectable and land it. The Equinox has kept the cells with .01 volt (as sensitive as my digital volt meter shows, in other words, dead on).

Any other opinions on the Equinox.

Press and release the Batt Type button until you see Li-ion, then rotate the disc if needed until it shows Li-ion charge, then press the center of the disc, release it, and rotate it to change the amperage, press and rotate again to set the voltage, then press and hold for a moment and it will beep at you and show Battery Check and then begin to charge.

bulldogs, Please read the triton menu system manual. The triton is easy to navigate after you use it a few times. A wrong setting can be dangerous.

I have the 1st gen triton and i love it. Its limit is 4 cells lipo though. This is ok until you want to upgrade to a trex 600 for larger cells.

You're right Big Dog, PB has nothing to do with Lipos. Use "Li-Ion" at 2.0A - 11.1V.
