I have been using my Spektrum radiofor both my Swift and my Trex.

I noticed that when I switch between the models, I need to retrim. Is that normal for Spektrum?

PS just in case if anyone is curious, i do have two different models set up on my spektrum (and each have an unique alpha numeric name)

ttt

Has anyone experienced the transmitter not retaining all the 'sub-trim' settings, while switching between different models.

Look forward to hearing back ...

did you *bind* it. This is important, and it sounds like maybe you skipped this stage. My models are all bound and do not require additional trimmimg...

Honey, I just need this one more thing and then I'm set..

The one place where you'll really notice trim problems is the gyro. If your gyro measures the pulse center when it first starts up (like Futaba and many other gyros do), then the pulse center it sees at startup is from the failsafe memory of the receiver, which is only updated by rebinding.

Rebinding should not be so important to the other channels (unless you use an ESC with an "auto" throttle mode).
