Hi guys I have a dumb question for you.
I've hovered a raptor V2 30 but scared myself to death after 4 crashes then sold it quick.
I bought a heavily upgraded zoom 2nd hand it is brushless & lipoed set up with the wooden light blades but the tail & head are not metal & it has a wobble now. I also bought a Trex 450X kit which I haven’t finished.
Now the stupid question what do I spend all my hard earned on? a metal head & tail for the zoom or start upgrading the Trex 450.

My thoughts are leaning to the zoom as it does hover nice. The trex I have heard is a quick little beast that can get away from you.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Save yourself some money and get a sim or find someone that can let you borrow one.

Ah that post makes me look like a total noob.
I already fly planks, mainly 3d funfly models.
I can prop hang, torque roll etc.
I am looking to get one of my model helicopters in the air just which one I cant decide.
I have just bought phoenix which is brilliant.
I'm flying the helis around on it OK.
Now I'm looking to get something other than my hummer V3 back into the air.

Well not wanting to be a jerk but if you scared yourself with a 30, 4 or 5 times the electric models are even harder to fly than the larger models.

They are more of a squirrl than you think.

You dont need the metal stuff right now, plastic is just fine until you get the hang of it.

I have a zoom and a t-rex se. I recommend you to learn flying with the zoom. The controls are soft and it's not as agressive as a t-rex (the zoom flies just like an airplane...)
