Seems like most people are choosing the TP4600-4SXL (24mm x 46mm x 195mm) over the TP4500-4SX (30mm x 45mm x 160mm). I have just ordered my kit so I can not double check, but I have seen posted elsewhere the battery slot dimensions measured at 50mm x 40mm x 160mm. I have heard that the longer TP4600-4SXL will fit with some canopy trimming. But it seems to me that with the shorter TP4500-4SX you would have more room to manipulate battery placement to optimize center of gravity. Am I missing something here? Are people running the TP4500-4SX and I am just missing it? I would greatly appreciate any information to help me decide on my packs. Thanks.

I just got a 4600 4SX last night, going to put a Deans on it, charge it, then fly it. I hope to get 8 mins of flying, it does stick out the front a bit. I get 5 out of my 3700 Litestorm pack. Did not know about the 4500TPX.

I went with the TP-38504SX. I Just received three of them directly from Thunderpower. They are short enough to allow movement for CG adjustment. I thought I would get more flight time than 5 minutes though. That is unfortunate. At least I will have better power to weight ratio than with a larger battery.

So far so good.
HOLY MOLY THIS PACK ROCKS OUT!!!!!!!!!!! 4STPX4600L

My Lepton is now on steroids!!! Climbouts were insane the whole pack, my tail belt came loose however and it started blowing out on me. But what I did get out of it was insane. The pack sticks out of the bottom of the canopy some, maybe an inch or so. Im hopping that the nose of the canopy will take the shock in a crash. It fits side to side perfectly with no room to spare.

My flight lasted 9 whole minutes!!! I am very happy so far. I will go out tomorrow and rip it up and report back, but I think this pack is a winner for me. I put back 4100mah.(is that OK?) Maybe 8 1/2 mins?

I would say it has the same power as my Litestorm 3700 20C pack, it just lasts longer.
