Hi
So got me trex 450XL standard kit no modifications..start flying.... after a few near hovers find out that i have to start hacking holes out of me canopy to make way for servo bar movements cos they are rubbing on the inside of the canopy and causing various sticking points.. How annoying is that!! Me canopy looks like its been shot at by something now...
Are there any canopys available whereby you just put them on the trex looks good and there is no need to hack holes in them???

with upper balls on the inside, no canopy trimming req'd. There be the tiniest rub there, but not even enough to hinder operation of an hs55, let alone a better, stronger servo.

What I had was the two servos up top, I just mounted them with the servo arm on the bottom. You can still have the two rods go to the T-arm with out binding.

Just split the canopy at the top. Nice and neat.

Or just flip the servos upside down, works well and no mods required to the canopy.

Moving the mounting holes of the canopy towards the back helps alittle too.
Just split the canopy at the top.
