You know, the runout on the fan was dead simple on mine. It was .002 the first try with no adjustments. Even the second time I did it (yesterday after pulling the motor), it came down to .002. I may have just been very lucky, but mine was as close as it can get without even trying.

I hope to fly mine this sun. Weather looks like sunny and 65 I only have the canopy left to finish. The radio is programed I just have to get my governor at the field. I was very pleased there was almost no servo interaction. I only had to adjust 1 servo on the top end just a little.

I got my runout to .002 out of the box!
So far the build is going well.
Question to all the Pantera owners.
I am installing the head and noticed a boo boo in the instuctions (I think) What is the measurment for the Swashplate to Seesaw Arm Linkage? The instruction tell me a measurment of 20.5mm That can't be right. Type to me oh Pantera gurus.
Flew the Tiger in a snow storm today. The pilot was not happy, the Tiger just thought it was another summer day of loops and rolls!
Heli hugs.

Bill
Try reversing the 20.5 and 36mm in the manual. Seesaw to grip should be the smallest, then washout to hiller, followed by swash to seesaw.

Looks to just be a typo, or the dimensions got assigned to the wrong pic.

Thanks FOX,
I'm just going to work my way up from the swash to the head once I get the servos on line. You told me to do this with the Tiger, and I'm going to get the head dialed in. Time to build the tail. I did notice that the tail hub has changed from the tiger. Time to give it a shot.
Thanks fox.

Tuff, Your going to get a box of goodies. Little bags that will turn into a Pantera. Let us know how the build goes. Take your time. I'm almost done with the build. Hope to get her off the ground Sunday.

Drive Washer
This is a stupid question but the prop drive washer is not needed with the Pantera is it? I figured that went away with the Tiger.

Yup. No drive hub needed. JB has all the goodies for the Pantera.
I might be able to test hop the Pantera Sunday.
This my progress.

Hey Bill
Looks like you got the linkages all figured out

Were they the correct dimensions just attached to the wrong pic in the manual, I'm pretty sure we used my Century link tool when JB was at my house and came up with the correct measurements.

Lookin good

The #2 link, washout to hiller, shown as 31 mm in the instructions appears to be too long for the pushrods provided. Is this measurement correct or should it be a shorter distance?

I did a real sneaky thing. I copied my Tiger program over to the Pantera program.
I had to rev the swash (CCPM) as this is using the blade grip flip mod. This is going to be a great staring place. Need to clear all the sub trims, and check servo travel.
I'm dialing it in and should have some "new" measruments for all the push rods. I found that out of the box required adjustments.
Stay tunned!

Hey Leroy2,
Did ya see the Seesaw arms? Both RJX.
Sorry JB, I had to put some bling on your baby.
Whats up with the missing holes for the antenna mount on the main gear?
I got the air cleaner mounted, and it looks cool. I used RC Z 56 to glue the filter to the poly pro mount. Arizona regulator programed.
I'm getting close.

WOO!
I'm working on the canopy and stickers.
Looks like if you want to turn on the beast. you have to remove the canopy to flip the power swich. Good thing I got a pin, and just drill a hole for the sucker.
Pic to follow.
