Hello all,

I'm looking for a 9 tooth pinion to fit a B2012L Hacker. I believe the motor has a 2.3 mm shaft. Can anyone point me to where I can purchase one?

Thanks,

Clay

I used to use the 9T w/the 430L and 325 woodies. Did this for a few months w/no probs.

even not doing anything would have been better than nothing...

Hi ktm520,

Thanks for the response. I was just curious. I'm currently running a 11T pinion on my 430l with 3cell evo20's, I was not pleased with the 13t combo and I'm looking at going to a 12t.

What kind of flight times are you getting with a 9t?? I run 8-9min of sport flying on the 11t.

Thanks,
Leslie

i have not tried the 9t yet. i get about the same times sportflying (8-9 min) using the 11t and a 2100 MegaPower. this is my first cp heli, but i think it has plenty of headspeed/power with the 11t, so i think the 9t will work fine. it will probably only extend flight times 1-2 min though.

I think if yo run the 9T pinion thru the headspeed calculator your going to find you have a low headspeed for flying. The 11T is about 2600 rpm and the 13T is 3000 rpm. When you get below 2400 rpm your heli is going to become very mushy and harder to handle...

Tom..... No "D" flying....

The hacker B2012L is a 4629 kv motor so that is why we are looking at the 9 tooth pinion.

I've got a couple more questions:

1. How much does the Align motor weigh?

2. How many teeth are on the T-Rex main gear?

Thanks,

Clay
