Hey all, while removing my custom boom, I somehow managed to break the antenna wire on my CX, Can I just solder or tape it back together or add another length of wire to it?

thanks,
nb

Depending on who you ask, the length of the wire is important, so as long as you end up with the same total length you started with, sure. Either twisting or soldering will work.

With a CX it's doubtful that you'll be flying hundreds of feet away, so if you only lost a foot or so you can probably just leave it short. But of course if you broke it right off at the 3/1 that may be a little too short.

Don't forget to range check it too.
