Hello from France

I've a predator with 26 cm3 Hanson Motor. This heli, buy not new was very bad built and after some hours to repair some parts, he has made very good flys.
But, the electronic was very bad too and after a servo failure on the cyclic, the heli has crashed.

As i work on a rebuild of this heli, i want to buy new wood main blades (for the price) and i need to know if you have already made some flys with this kind of blades : aerotech plus (690 mm ?)
http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=1024

I fly very cool, no 3D.

Thank you in advance for your help

Regards

PY

Hi PY:

Do yourself a favor and order a set of RotorTech 720mm carbon fibre blades from Rick's RC or Heli-World here in the states. Lots of people swear by them, as do I. Also, you may want to look into a set of 115mm RotorTech carbon blades for the tail as well.

Can you tell any difference in flight handling on 710s vs. 720? I have a set of 710, and wondering if I should get rid of this and go with the 720...

Since the blades are longer, it should be a bit less agile in rolls rapid pitch reverse correct?

PY,, aerotech wood blades are about the best wood blades you can buy, but you may find 680 may be a tiny bit small for a heavy gasser, I would think you would want 700's,,

see if you can find some used carbon blades, you will be much happyer with carbon !!
