I love my Hirobo Sceadu ... but I enjoy the flying and not having to clean my electrics. I just wish I could recharge my 600 as fast as I can refuel my Sceadu.

sceadu 50
i havent crashed my 50 yet knock on wood . but i guess your best bet is get a crash kit.. its going to be alot more then align.. 5 something for 3 main shafts is amazing.. but i mean you get invcreduble performance out of a sceadu 50. im using fut 3001`s on the cyclic.. swm version and it flies amazing.. ccpm is the reason i went to hirobo, bsdies the fact you dont need upgrades to make it fly amazing.. ive owned both and hands down hirobo. if you can get parts.. anyway as i said your looking at .. 25-100 per crsh but their much HARder to crash due to the size and visibility and you get great flight times.. 10-15 minutes. Great for learning, also ill add that a sceadu is less easy to break certain parts. e.g fuel tank. Receivers. its got a built in box. Im not a hirobo rep but i didnt have good luck with the raptor. Although i think the best bet is stick an OS engine in a raptor your gonna be prety close. Raptors are cheaper to plant.

My two cents

I just bought a Millennium 2, so I can get a whole day's flying in. I have enough batteries for about 45 minutes on my t-rex. It's just not enough! Bought a nitro so I can get a whole day's flying in, without messing about recharging batteries.

T-Rex 450 XL (but more than half SE bits)
Raven 50 (blinged!)

I have found the T-Rex ridiculously inexpensive to crash compared to the nitro. With the larger size and weight comes stability and precision, but also not the "zing" and more inertia when crashing!

eg - $10 for a pack of 3 mainshafts or $18 ea on Raven.
$8 pack of 4 feather shart or $16 ea on Raven.
$11 for 2 pack of booms or $20 ea on Raven.
$10 set of landing gear or $40 on Raven.
$15 canopy or $100 on Raven.

Plus batts, mufflers, fuel, glow plugs, starter equip etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, i love my Raven, but crashing a nitro compared to a baby Rex makes u cringe!
