Post them guys! I just got mine today from http://www.onlyraptors.com and I'm anxious to see other pics and setups of fellow e-Raptor flyers. Now it's time to open the brown box

Larger and less expensive than the razor – always a winning combination.

The low cost and probably the most popular setup for the E620 is probably going to be a Z-Power Z50A-800 with a 10s LiPo. That setup will give you more power than an OS 50 Hyper of trex600.

For the E550 use a Z30A-1100 and a 6s LiPo or a Z30A-800 and a 8s LiPo.

Tppacks.com now has z-power motors in stock.

If you want crazy power (90 size nitro power) go with the Neu Motors 1915/1Y and a 12s LiPo or a Z50A-600 and a 12s LiPo.

LOL

I have nearly 4HP going to the blades of my trex600.

Im running a medusa 38x50 ( 8kv) i think...?
CC85HV
2 4s 3700 evo packs is series = 8s 3700mah
3 DS1213 servos
601w servo
JR 1700 flight pack
JR R2000 rx
TT-600 Carbons

Even on 8s this heli is as or better than a hyper .50 r50
with 10s it's gonna be silly...

That looks great, I really like the tail. The way the lead wires come out of the EVO pack we almost have to have them facing the front of the heli. It would be a pain otherwise to slide the pack in and out each time. Also as I posted elsewhere I would suggest knocking the sharp edges off of the lower carbon frames with some 600 grit. I took a nick out my insulation on a pack sliding the pack in head first for a trial fit on where I wanted to place the electronics.

Well I have my pics in my own thread but windward46 wants some posted here so I'll double them up.

For anyone considering the Quick UK tail make sure to dissamble it before use and lube the thrust bearings with some good grease as I found mine nearly dry, as well the threadlock was not that good so it would be wise to redo it anyways for either of these facts and it only takes a minute. I also noticed that the way the bottom drive gear sits in there the belt tracks high on right side and low on left, I used a thin washer "M3" and raised the right one a tad, and put another thin one on other side to lower that one and now the belt will run true center on both sides... the stock ones ride center and no room for the thin washer though, but keep this in mind if you use Quick UK front pulleys as well.

Who imports the Z-Power motors?
Can someone tell me where to find out who imports these, so we can sell them in our shop?

For all you 10s fans tppacks.com just got in another shipment of Z50A-800 motors – get one before they are all gone. It’s still at the incredibly low price of $134.95.

Have you flown your yet with the Gyro like that, I tried it, cables are too tight and will render twiching tail, you need to ease up on the cables so there is no chance of sensor moving if cables are moving some.

Placement works, but loose cable is the key.
