Hey there, can someone please tell me how I can get my JR 9303 to work with my G3. I've tried to hook it up with the JR cord provided, but I guess I'm not doing something right. Any input would be awesome. Thanks! Lori

Plug it in. With a JR radio it will come on automatically. If it doesn't come on automatically, you may need to turn it on [you may want to remove the module or xtal]. Select the transmitter from the Controller menu. Select the Channel Mapping option in the Controller menu. Map the channels and set reversing as required.

To map the channels, you basically move the stick and then change the combo box next to the progress bar to match the control that you moved. So if you move the throttle up/down, and progress bar 1 moves, then you set the combo box next to that to 'Channel 3 - Throttle'. If I remember right, the mapping should be
  1. Channel 3 - Throttle
  2. Channel 1 - Roll
  3. Channel 2 - Pitch
  4. Channel 4 - Rudder
  5. Channel 5 - Dual Rates
  6. Channel 6 - Knob
  7. Channel 7 - Smoke
  8. Channel 8 - 3 Position Switch
You'll have to reverse two channels, but I can't remember which ones. I think it is just throttle and aileron, but I could be wrong.

The TX must also be in PPM mode. I'd Create a new model memory for use on the sim.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to get my JR 652 figured out on this channel mapping thing. Any help would be appreciated! Getting a new radio soon, but for now...
Thx again!

OK, I was able to get my 9303 hooked up to the G3, but it still does not run right. I can't even get the thing off the ground. I checked to see that the channels were all the way they should be, and reversed the throttle and the elevator, but it just doesn't want to respond correctly. Has anyone else been able to get there's to work right?

I am having problems with G3.5 and the JR9303, also. At first I tried to map the channels, but the software would change them back. So I went into the 9303 Set up a sim model and set all servos to normal, (v. reverse). That seem to fix the channel mapping issues for the cyclic, pitch, throttle and rudder, and everything was operating in the correct direction. BUT, I can't get the sim out of the idle up 1 mode. Although, the sim doesn't respond to the idle up switch, it shows all of the channels. If I go to show the radio on the screen, the only switch that it recognizes is the gear switch. It can see it toggle as I do so on the screen. Nothing else seems to work. So I have changed the pitch and throttle curve in the sim. Also created a heli for the sim in order to do this.

Is there anyway and or fix to get G3.5 to work with the 9303? I would really like to work on autos.

Thanks

Using the PARAMETERS menu on the 9C, map channel 7 to the throttle hold switch and map channel 8 to the idle up switch.
