hey guys;
I have gotten a great deal of information from all of you and would like to thank you all.
here is the first shot from my rex. It was really windy today and I had to work hard to even get up that high, I think its only about 80 ft. up but, it got up there and came back down with out crashing.

I am running a mixed machine that is almost a SE but missing a few metal parts. Went the upgrade route....wow wont do that again, just buy the se and be done with it next time.
I just tried the standard setup that I found on here,
430l motor with 11T pinion
335 mains
2100 align lipos
align 35 amp esc
bla- bla- bla same as most rigs

I love the airfoil mount, at first it looked a bit homemade to me, but what the heck it works great, I smoothed up the connection point for the roll joint and added 2 elastics to stablize the roll.
I am shooting with a pentax A-10 8 meg optio with a prism remote trigger.
Other than the T-Rex being pushed around bad by the wind, I think this setup works ok.
any suggestions would be great on the setup.
I seem to be getting about 9-10 minutes of flight with 2100s running somewhere around 2100 headspeed. I tried taching it myself and checked it just as it got light on its feet.
anyway thanks again to all your great posts on the AP topic and I hope to give back as I get batter at it.

Woops.... that's gonna hurt...@#$%&*

I hove no idea,
take the SE stock weight +
145g camera
4.7 oz mount
4g shutter control
additional weight of the 335 blades
and a few extra gs for wire and such
like I said, I have no idea
