My JR7207 insists on being turned on with the throttle hold off. I've looked everywhere for a way to reverse this as it seems backwards to me. Shouldn't you want the throttle hold on when you turn all the gear on to avoid a hot start. It's on my TREX so a hot start seems to be more of a risk. Any ideas or is my theory flawed?

flawed theory.

most all transmitters 'complain' if you power them up in non-Normal
mode (that includes Throttle Hold).

so power up the 7207 in Normal, hit throttle hold if you insist
and then power up the bird.

Its not a flaw at all, you can set your throttle hold for 100% so you wouldn't want that on at start up, remeber that TH is just another flight mode.

Since the switch on process is TX then heli you have planty of time to set the switches as you wish after power up of the TX before you turn the heli.
