And the people who sell balancing tools strongly disagree

I track them....but i don't balance them.......the manufacturer does that for me..........as i say.....some of the best pilots don't balance their blades.......my machine doesn't vibrate.....it performs great.........I know a guy who is amazing with a heli.......he doesn't balance his tail blades.....what does that say? As for reliablilty i can't remember the last time I had something mechanical fail. Thats why i check over it after every serious days flying.

Its not that i'm too lazy.......its because i'm out flying my machine whilst others are sat at the computer talking about flying and playing with their balancers.

It says you know a guy who is amazing with a heli and he doesn't balance his tail blades.

lol ^

i hate to interupt this thread, but i see you guys have your head on the balancer with blades and everything. How do you get your blades on there straight?? ive tried doing that with my tail and if the blades arent in the grips straight, it completley throws off the balance??

and one more thing, i noticed with the dubro balancer something can be balanced then you turn the balancing shaft around or move the item your balancing around on the balancing shaft and it seems to no longer be balanced??

am i just crazy or what>?

To balance the tail assy you need to slip in shims of equal size on both sides between the grips and the hub to keep the grips from turning. Make sure they are in the exact same position. Tighten the blade holding screws and make sure the blades are both exactly the same.

I have never done any of this. Just seen others describe it.

LoL

Can't be argumentative all the time. We're here to help one another, not flame each other.

Some heli-pilots balance, some heli-pilots don't balance. What's all the hostility for. We all can get along and fly in harmony.
