Hinke,
A quick message for ya: HURRY!!!

Ryan,
Drive shouldn't be to bad between Dallas and Austin, just keep an eye out for those crazy azz Texas drivers and get here in one piece!

AGRAV8,
Bring em all!!! You must, must bring a turbine(and the 520 NOTAR, and the Augusta 109 Mako, and of course the Predator Freestyle, well then you might as well bring the...... hell just bring em all!). Have yet to see one and I know there's a few more of us who haven't seen one yet. See ya then.

Tim,
My wife loves Ikea, she's been counting the days until that store opened up here in Austin. Wish they had an all Swedish woman staff!

jab1969,
Are we at five days yet??

Hey Everyone,

It's been brought to my attention(and rightly so) that some may not know exactly what/who Blue Santa is. I should have posted more information up about who/what Blue Santa is about. Sorry about that. I guess I got so excited I spaced out! So, here is some info on Blue Santa and also they do request certain types of toys(ie: not toy guns ) Now if you have already bought a toy/s I wouldn't worry about it, I really don't think anyone will gripe about it. I think they will be very appreciative. This fun fly/fund raiser looks like it's going to be a blast! There's going to be some happy kids this Christmas!!

John

http://www.bluesanta.org

Operation Blue Santa accepts new unwrapped toys, books and stuffed animals. We do not accept or give out toy weapons of any kind. We provide each child with 2 toys, a book, stuffed animal and stocking stuffers. We recommend donations be made by Dec. 13th to ensure enough time to sort and package the toys. Based on current trends, toys are needed for the 1-2 year olds & 10-14 year old, boys and girls. Toys needed: balls/athletic equipment, building blocks, art supplies, board games, walk-man radios, watches & beauty products. Also, we ask that if a toy needs batteries, please include them with your item.

Ryan,
Man I cannot for the life of me recall the names but there are several hotels right there on south I-35 close to Slaughter lane. I'm sure someone will chime in and give the info for ya, if not I'll look them up for you.

Also, don't want some of you to panic about the weather. So far it looks like we're still in good shape. A cold front is going to blow into Austin on late Wednesday night, early Thursday morning so it will be kind of nasty on Thursday and part of Friday BUT, the forecast for Saturday is no rain, partly cloudy with an overnight low of around 29-30 and highs for the day in the mid to upper 50's. In other words if it's not to windy(I'm checking on the winds aloft etc) it will be a pretty nice day! Partly cloudy means mostly sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 50's means the temp could possibly even be in the 60's. So, don't let the forecast deter you because you could find yourself missing one great day!!

I picked up two TP5000 packs, balanacer, front and rear metal tail assemblies. I don't care about "bling", but after a friend's 600 went in from wearing the front pulley smooth, I opted for the metal ones! I am using the new MRC charger, as I already had that.
