I just bought the 450SA and it should being coming in about 4-5 days
Now, I'm look to buy servos for the build, but don't know for sure which one to get. I'm concerned about buying a servo and it not fitting in the servo tray. The ESC I have is from Align and it has a BEC of about 5.0 volts, so i'm concerned about the speed issue with the HS-56HB.

I've been looking at the following:
1) HS-56HB .17/60deg at 6.0 volts (cyclic and/or rudder)
2) HS-65HB (cyclic/rudder)
3) HS-81MG (Rudder)

What do you guys think? Please bare with me as this is my first T-Rex.

Because the SA is a direct linkage, I'd suggest the HS65MG's for the cyclic and a Futaba 9650 for the tail, given that you have a GY401 gyro..

Alrighty! The HS-65 sounds good, but i've been comparing the dimensions to other sub micro servos and it is slightly larger. Will there be any issues with mounting?

I think i'm going to go with the HS-65 for cyclic, but i've been looking around and i've seen some HS65's with the standard 2 hole mounting, and others with the 3 hole mounting tabs. Which one do I need?

As for the tail, I don't really want to spend alot of $$$ for a servo. Can anybody out there make a Hitec servo recommendation?

Sorry about all these stupid questions, as this is my first trex.
Any mods made since the HS-81 is a slightly larger servo???

Preferrably you'd want the 3-hole HS65... If not, you can drill the center holes to mount the servos.
