Any one having carb issues G-26 engine
I was just reading an article on the Quick Heli Gas-Her, and it was saying that the G-26 engine requires an additional gasket set to preven air leaks around the carb mount....Is this true? Also I am thinking of getting a gas heli will the G-26 be enough juice for 3d or should I have it modified...or buy BH modified eng>
thanks

The insulator between the cylinder and carb is prone to warp or crack and allow extra air in after the fuel is mixed which causes the motor to run lean. This is what is often called an "Air Leak".

It's not a problem specific to the G26 as it can occur on all model zenoahs.

Z-RC make an insulator block out of Aluminium which uses teflon gaskets and it does a great job of curing the air leaks assuming your original insulator was leaking. If your original insulator is not warped or cracked then fitting the Z-RC won't achieve anything except bling.
