My Revlock 10 started Hunting/Missing two weeks ago when I switched from a Gallon of coolpower 30% to my usuall 20% Magnum

I re-adjusted the needles to where they were before using the Coolpower but no matter where i put the two needles it would not run without severe hunting I also tried the gain setting on the Revlock as well made no difference no matter if it was all the way up or down
I also reset the unit at least half a dozen times but it made no difference
I figured that possibly the carb or the rear bearing were the cause So I stripped the engine down checked Piston,Ring ,Liner,Bearings front and back and completly stripped the carb and cleaned everything..I also changed all fuel lines including the clunk line
Fuel tank and Bung and changed the glow plug An Enya 3

Went up the field to day got 3 Tanks of fuel through the Heli with no problems at all.. Opened another jug of Magnum 20% and the same problem with the Revlock again Really bad Hunting

Although by the third tank of the hunting I had managed to get it somewhat more stable in idle up it still wasn't right. When switching from Idle up back to normal the hunting got worse LOL

I then totally bypassed the revlock and flew on curves and the heli was perfect in all modes but switching the Revlock back on and the hunting started straight away

Is there anything else that i can check LOL??????

Century Hawk Pro
OS 37 and Hatori Exhaust
Magnum 20%
Servo is a JR DS811
Low Needle Factory default
High end needle Just under 1 and a Half turns out
Pinch test 4-5 seconds
Backplate warm but not hot

there is a small adjustment on the Revlock (turn pot). You want
it to be mostly counterclockwise.

the Revlock doesnt tolerate overly rich engines and by going
to 20 from 30%, the engine is richer than it should be even though
it may seem to you to tuned 'spot on'.

Z
I went to 30% for one gallon adjusted the needles Had zero issues It was when I went back to My normal 20% that the problems began
I have adjusted the pot from Min to Max with nill effect other than the hunting gets faster LOL as I increase the gain Especially at full clockwise position

UPDATE

Just to let you all know I had a look at the Unit (Finally LOL)
and I've discovered what my Problem is/was

The Heat shrink tubing was allowing the sensor to move slightly when the engine was at speed as it had become brittle over time (and crashes lots of LOL )
Renewed the tubing and the unit now works as well as ever

Many,,Many thanks to Colin Mills for the offer but I now have no need to take you up on it

Roger
