(Smooth) Quick EP 8
This chopper is so smooth i have about 30 flights at 20min/per flight with a 6s 22.2v Li-po pack that just thrusts mad powder. the other day i tried doing circles around myself and crashed and burned. She is up and running today already and flying just as smooth as ever the way it looked when i crashed was bad thought it would take forever to fix but with plenty of patience and about 3 hours it runs and looks like new Without really hurting my wallet. Peace!!!

What are you comparing the "smoothness" and "mad power" against?
What head speed are you getting, and what is your measured collective and cyclic pitch?

And if you are only hovering around, just how much "mad power" do you need?
Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

I don't think he needs you to convince him he's not happy with his heli... According to what is written, it's smooth and powerful enough for him......

At no time did I ask or rate the happiness or quality of his helicopter, I asked for factual information on the set up and performance. Unfortunatly "mad power" is an opinion that I can neither measure or duplicate for my own testing.Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

I guess that is my fault. I was alread looking for the Quick bashing to begin. Can you say that your question wasn't loaded for that? Everytime someone is happy with a QWW heli, someone has to come on and let them know that they aren't "really" happy, they are just......how it was put to me "dis-illusioned"...Gas is Great

I'm looking for facts, my questions have always reflected that.

One of the reasons for the bashing, I believe is the lack of facts in the QWW supporters posts.

If this post stated for example "I'm running 10/10 7 cyclic at 1900 in idle up 1" it would have more credibility than "smooth and mad power"

Bashing, no way, trying to get it under control by discusing actual factual performance information, not whether Irwin makes junk or not.
Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

The guy is a new pilot, and may not know all of the technical specifics that you are requesting. He likes his heli and it's doing a good job for him. Maybe when he has a little more experience under his belt, he could tell you the specs that you would like to know about. I've been flying helis for 20 years, but I can't tell you anything about the electric scene. I think I'm gonna get into one day, but for now, my Octane Intimidator has all my focus.

Don't you mean "Intimindator?"

Aren't typos fun?

My ITGuy made a BOOBOO
Since the name was spelled wrong I decided to change the name to one I could spell...So now the machines will be called Nitro Dominator & OCTANE Dominator....

If you like they will always be the Big Bertha & the Gas HER..

I hope this satisfies those with DR Degrees in English Lit...

Be good or be gone...

I have a great sense of humor...I laugh every time I look in the mirrow...If people would spend as much time getting to know me & what QWW has to offer instead of the few mentally challenged that fester such negativity about me & my products it would be a better feeling to read RR.

I have seriously considered closing my site here on RR. I guess I take some of post personnally when I shouldn't. The problem it must hurt my business.....That is a problem for me...

There are many other ways of getting our message out there....it seems to work with out feeling lousy about the posts..

BTW...has any one every read or seen ad about the Fortune 100 companies bashing the crap out of each other....

Tell me why is it wrong for me to expect to see a great new helicopter come out in the market when all the technology is right in front of any one's eyes.

One only needs to look at the mistakes of others & not repeat them...

He is a local Newbie
He is new to helicopters....He has flow some of the micro & SUB MICRO stuff....

Tyler bought one of our LITTLE QUICKIE Eight...he did a great job building the machine....When I took it out to give it a test it was perfect...the blades were dead on..

He has had a few minor crashes since then & he has already learned to be a excellent mechanic....with a very good understanding now of our electric technology.

He will be a very good pilot & faster learner....So please be tolerate of all newbies....we were all once beginners....

I remember it took me 6 weeks just to get the first heli off the ground & 3 seconds to crash it....20 years ago there was not much help out there...

Just be nice...Thanks
